Acting

My first time performing on stage I was five years old... I was hooked instantly! As any theatre addict knows, once you’ve been bitten by the acting bug, there’s no going back.

Without a doubt one of the most influential forces in my theatrical life has been South Carolina Children’s Theatre (SCCT). Growing up I loved taking their classes on everything from music theatre to improv. It was such a gratifying experience to return years later to many of those same classes during the summer of 2010 as an assistant teacher. Always focusing on children and the arts, SCCT produces phenomenal productions at The Peace Center for the Performing Arts that entertain adults but are always appropriate for families. I’m so grateful to have performed in wonderful SCCT shows including The Wizard of Oz as “Dorothy,” Peter Pan as “Liza,” and Disney’s Mulan as “Yun.” I can’t say enough wonderful things about the talented, kindhearted people at SCCT! It’s truly a place unlike any other.

Recently, I have had the opportunity to branch out into film acting. It was a semester to remember when I was flying out to New Mexico when I wasn’t in class to film Ladders to the Sun (in post production) as female lead “Clara.” I even had the chance to star in the “Annuit Coeptis” music video for rock group Your Chance to Die.
