Modeling
People always ask how I got into modeling. To be frank, it's never something I would have imagined myself doing. During my freshman year of college, a girl kept pestering me to submit my photos to an agency; I did it to appease her. Soon afterward, I found myself at my first shoot. I had a blast! Before I knew it, I was signing with my first agency… and so the whirlwind began!
I consider myself extremely blessed to have worked with many talented industry professionals from around the world. I’ve been signed both domestically and internationally and have been featured in fashion shows, magazines, and book covers in ten countries. I even had the privilege to be the spokesmodel for a Mensa SIG. It took a while, but I definitely discovered my modeling niche. Although I do fashion work with some wonderful designers, much of my print work is for book covers with inspirational photographer Susan Fox. I've come to love my place in the modeling world, always frolicking through the flowers in a flowy dress.
All the amazing benefits aside, it has been a tremendous networking tool and learning experience. In the modeling business, you learn very quickly that people will test your personal values and determination. I’m very proud to say that in front of every camera I have always kept my dignity in tact!
